Morning!
I
am still in 1 Corinthians 13 (Amplified Bible), and finishing up verse
4.....LOVE does not act "haughty"! You may
say..."Well, I am not haughty"! Okay, but do you
ever "act" haughty? My Mother called people who acted
haughtily "snobs". Ever heard that? You can be a
"Christian" and still be a "snob"! In plain and
simple language, and also according to Webster, being a "snob" means
to look at some people as being "inferior" to you. It
could be because they don't "dress" like you do, or because they don't
have the same "skin color" you have, or because they don't have the
"education" you have, or because they don't "sing" like
you sing or "preach" like you preach or go to the same kind of
"church" that you go to. Come on now! Think about it!
I am not even going to give you all the Q & A on this one.....I will just
let The Holy Spirit show you if you have a tendency to think that you are
"better" than someone else!
Well, guys and gals,
tomorrow is the first day of April and so I think I am going to take a
"Spring Break"! It has been a long time since I took some time
off, and The Lord has told me that I need to do this from time to time.... so,
I will be obedient!
I will be back on Monday,
April 10....and let the "interrogation" begin again!
As I think about it....you all probably need a "break" from ME!
