Good Morning!
As I was typing the
date in the "subject line", I was thinking about the fact
that tomorrow will be the fourth "Anniversary" for T.O.D.A.Y.'S
Encouragements! Wow! How time flies.....and yet, four years later
I am still amazed at how The Lord put this all together! I can
promise you....IT HAD TO BE THE LORD, because at that time I had just barely
learned how to turn the computer on!
He told me that he wanted me to send out a "word of encouragement"
to my partners on a daily basis. So I was "okay" with that,
but if I had known that it would end up being a "world-wide"
out-reach...I know for sure that I would have been "terrified"! 
That is the reason The Lord does not reveal the "whole
picture" when He gives us an assignment! 
Anyway, I wanted to be
obedient to do what The Lord was asking me to do and so I started sending them
to my partners. At that time, my mailing list was "small".
I had no idea that it would "mushroom" to the size that it is now!
That is because, God is a God of "increase" when we are obedient
in the "small beginnings"! To God be all of the Glory!
Some of you have been with me from "day one", and some of you have
"just begun", but I want to let all of you know how much I
appreciate each and every one of you for taking the time to read these, and thank
you for your "support" all these years!! So, just for
"fun", I want to share with you a copy of the very first
"encouragement" that I sent out. Thought you might enjoy
reading about how it "all began"! The following is the
"original" encouragement~~~~~~~~~~
T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT
for March 11th, 2002
Good
Morning Beloved Partners...Beginning today, T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries will be
"e-mailing" an encouraging word (Mon. thru Fri.) to all of the
partners and to anyone else that is interested. These e-mails are
designed to: not only encourage you, but also to edify you -
strengthen you - and promote your spiritual growth. There is no
charge for this outreach, but please send a reply to confirm whether or
not you wish to be included.
Now ...For Today's Encouragement......... Hebrews 3:13 tells us to encourage one another every day. So, obviously, The Lord knew that we were going to need that. Even the person that God may use to encourage you, also needs to be encouraged! The Kingdom of God is based on "sowing and reaping". You reap "WHAT" you sow You reap "MORE" than you sow You reap "AFTER" you sow With that in mind...I encourage you Today to encourage someone else Today. Your harvest is GUARANTEED!!! Well....there
you have it! That was the "birthing" of T.O.D.A.Y'S
Encouragements! I am so glad that I "obeyed" The Lord that
day! I have met so many "valuable and precious" siblings
through this out-reach! I encourage you to just be "obedient"
to do what ever The Lord is leading you to do.....you never know how
many "lives" will be touched because of it!
