Morning!
Just
to "recap", we are walking through 1 Corinthians 13: 4 - 8 and
putting our names in the "blanks"....right? I would like to
stop and "preach" awhile (you know how I am), but I am going to go
ahead and get right in to verse 5 because this is a pretty long verse and I
want to cover it all in this encouragement. Ready?~~~~~
verse
5...._____is not conceited; _____is not arrogant and inflated with
pride; ____is not rude (unmannerly), and does not act unbecomingly.
ALERT! Please stop and think about the rest of this verse~~~~~~______
does not insist on my own rights or on having my own way because
_____is not self-seeking; _____is not "touchy", "fretful"
or "resentful"; _____takes no account (doesn't keep a record) of all
the "hurtful" and "unjust" things that others have
said or done!
We
will take up verse 6 on Friday, but I want to let you know that when we
have gone through all of the verses and put our names in the
"blanks"...I am going to go back over each verse and talk about
how each one of them CAN relate personally to all of us! We
all have an "opportunity" from time to time to be tempted to do the
things that these verses tell us not to do! So, save these
encouragements if you can, so that you can refer back to them. I
am so excited about where The Lord is going with all of this....it can be
"life-changing", so stay tuned in!
