I
think we ought to start this day off with another song that goes right
along with the "song" that we have been talking about. Most of
you know this song, so sing along with me!

CONSIDER ALL THE WORKS THY HANDS HAVE MADE;

THY POWER THOUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE DISPLAYED.
THEN SINGS MY SOUL, MY SAVIOR GOD, TO THEE;
HOW GREAT THOU ART....HOW GREAT THOU ART!

I
love this song, but you know what? We don't have to wait until Jesus
comes back to do what this song says....right now, today and everyday, we can
"bow in humble adoration", and let God know that we believe
He is just absolutely the "greatest"!
When
we "sing" about the greatness of God, we are "praising
Him"! There is so much "power" in Praise!
For example....God "inhabits" the praises of His people, so when we
"praise" Him...we are in His presence! And in His
"presence" we have fullness of "joy"! (Psalm 16:11).
Also, praise stops the "avenger" (the enemy) from coming
against us! (Psalm 8:2). So, there you have it...If we will continually
praise Him....we can stay in His presence, have fullness of joy, and
"disappoint" all of the devices of the enemy! Praise God! That
is "good news"!!!! Let everything that has "breath"
PRAISE THE LORD!!
