Morning!
Psalms 127:1 says "except The Lord
builds the house, they labor in vain that build it." In the 6th
chapter of Luke, we are told which house will "stand" and
which house will "fall"...it all depends upon the foundation!
Every word that God has spoken will come to pass, and we are seeing
that happen right before our eyes! So many "man-made empires"
are falling and their "foundations" are being exposed.
There is nothing wrong with the desire to
"build"....God wants us to be constructive and always making
progress....but, He wants us to do it His way so that we will be successful! He
wants to make sure that "our labor is not in vain"!
So, whether you are trying to build a
business....a marriage....a relationship... a ministry....or
whatever!.....think about what your "motive" is! We must
always be motivated by "love", not by greed, ambition, fame or
power. The tools that we use to "build with" must
never be manipulation, dishonesty, or deception! The Lord is going
somewhere with this, so we will continue tomorrow~~~~
