Good Morning!

Let me say, once again, that it is not my intention to take any thing away from the "seriousness" of what is going on with our troops and allies.  In fact, I just want to point out how closely related our "spiritual" conflict is to theirs!

We, as Christians, make up the "Army of God", and we "join" voluntarily.... no one is "forced" to join, although we do have the opportunity to "recruit" others.  We have millions of "allies", they are called "like believers"...all in one mind and one accord, supporting a just and righteous "cause".

We have been given our military "uniform" and protective gear, it is called the "armor of God" (Read Ephesians 6:10 thru 18). This armor is both "defensive" and "offensive".  Included in it is a "helmet", a "bullet-proof vest", a "sword", a "shield", and "combat boots".  We also are supplied with the most powerful ammunition that is known to man...PRAYER and PRAISE!

We have been fully "equipped" for the battle, but there is so much more that the Word has to say about this "similarity".  I guess I will take this up again on Monday...........it is verrrry "interesting"!
