Good Morning!

"Onward Christian soldiers!".........I know that a lot of you will remember that song, even though we don't hear it sung very much anymore.  In the denomination that I was brought up in, we sang it often, but at that time, I did not have a clue what I was singing about.  I loved Jesus, and I loved to sing, but I did not have a "revelation" of His Word concerning everything I was singing about...I think that is still the case with a lot of people...we "sing the songs" without thinking about what the words are saying.  Anyway............that is not what my message is about today!  Moving right along..........

As we are praying for, and supporting our troops, I find it much easier to relate to them as I look at the "similarities" between the "war" that is going on in the natural, and the "war" that the Army of God is engaged in.  In both situations, the "objective" is the same............to deliver people's lives from destruction and harm, to set the captives free, to give them hope, and to let
them know that they have a right to live in freedom, peace, and dignity!

Just as our "military" is paying a price for this to be available to all people....Jesus also "paid the price" for it to be available to "all that would believe upon Him"!

There is so much more that I want to include in this "analogy", but I try not to make the "daily encouragements" too long, so I will continue this tomorrow..............I believe that you will be blessed with the "comparisons".
