T.O.D.A.Y.’S
ENCOURAGEMENT for June 13th, 2002

Good Morning!
As I was seeking The Lord about the subject matter for this
"Encouragement", He gave me one word..........Frustration. According to Webster, the definition of
frustration is: being prevented from achieving an objective; disappointment;
discouragement; confusion, etc. Well, according to the Bible, none of these
things are from God. So, then, where
does it come from?
We have an enemy, and it is not other people (Ephesians 6:12). The devil is the one that wants to...prevent
us from achieving our objectives; to be disappointed; to be discouraged; and to
be confused.
All of us will have opportunities to become frustrated, just like all of us
have opportunities to become fearful.
We have to make the decision to resist the spirit of frustration the
same way we resist the spirit of fear.
Why? Because, frustration (our inability to achieve our
objectives), leads to self-condemnation; we think there is something wrong with
us. Then self-condemnation is the
forerunner to self-pity. Self-pity
leads to depression, and this is exactly where the devil wants to take us. But God does not want us to be ignorant of
Satan's devices (2Corinthians 2:11).
Tomorrow, we will look further into God's Word concerning this subject. I encourage you, today, to trust Almighty
God to deliver you from discouragement...the Apostle Paul did!
Have a Blessed
Day!!
In His Love, Luanne
We welcome your comments and
prayer requests.
