T.O.D.A.Y.’S ENCOURAGEMENT for June 7th, 2002

Good Morning!

I believe that I am going to be speaking to someone personally today.  Maybe, even to more than one.  I know that I need to be reminded of this, myself, from time to time.

Even when we are doing what The Lord wants us to do, and we are sincerely trying to do the right thing, there will be times when we get tired and grow weary.  There will be days when we aren't seeing the results that we wanted to see, or we are not getting the answers that we wanted to get.

It is during those times that we begin to feel discouraged and when that happens, the temptation comes to give up and quit.  That should be like a red flag, and an alarm signal to us!

Temptation, in any form, never comes from God.  So, if you will resist the temptation to give up, and just begin to lean on Jesus, casting all of your cares upon Him...He will strengthen you and give you the encouragement that you need to help you "keep on keeping on"!

God promises us in Galatians 6:9, that if we won't grow weary in well doing, then we WILL reap in due season.  So, I encourage you, today, to keep sowing your seeds and get ready for your abundant "harvest"!
