Good Morning!

Today I want to talk to you about how important it is for us to "Praise The Lord".  All through the Bible we are instructed to do this, so I want us to look at why we need to be obedient in this area.  I believe you will find all of this information "very interesting"!

First of all, God doesn't need our praises in order to feel good about Himself.  We are the ones who benefit from this, and that is why He wants us to understand what Praising God is really all about.

A lot of people seem to have difficulty with this.  In fact, they have a hard time with using the phrase, "Praise The Lord"!  And yet they don't have a problem with praising their children or other people.  Why is that?  Think about it...Whenever we praise our children or other people, all we are doing is just saying to them, "You have done a great thing and we like it".  So why is it so hard for us to tell The Lord the same thing?  Could it be that we let "pride" get in the way?  Or maybe it is because we don't really understand the "power" that comes from PRAISING THE LORD!

There is so much more to talk about concerning this, so I think that this will have to be another one of my "to be continued" Encouragements>>>>>>
