T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for July 17, 2008
T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries
14745 Merrilltown #1611 Austin TX 78728 Good Morning!
God's
COVENANT blessing for today . . . is found in Proverbs 20:7 >>> In
that scripture, He tells us that the righteous are supposed to be walking in
"integrity", and IF we are, then our children are
blessed after us! This simply means that
"Christians" are supposed to be people of "integrity".
We get blessed first, and then our children also get blessed! That
is simple to understand . . . children pattern their lives after
the kind of example that their parents set and live before them . . . i.e.
they get blessed after following that example of "integrity"!
What does it mean to be a person that walks in "integrity"? It
just means that we are honest and truthful . . . it means that we "keep
our word" and we do what we say we are going to do . . . it means that we
are "dependable and can be trusted"! Those things
are the same "characteristics and nature" of our Lord! Selah
(which means to "stop and think about it")! People who fail to
walk in "integrity" have a hard time believing in the
"integrity" of God's Word!
You
may be reading this, and maybe you don't have any "children" of your
own. This does not mean that you have been "excluded" from the
blessings that come from you being a person of integrity . . . nor does
it mean that you are "exempt" from obeying God's Word concerning
this!
Even
if you do not have children of your own . . . you may have "spiritual
children" that look to you for direction. You may have
"nephews and nieces" that observe your life-style. You may be
a teacher in school or Sunday school. Even if "none of the
above" apply to you . . . you still need the COVENANT blessing of God on your
life! You can have it . . . IF you "walk in
integrity"! Then you can have "confidence" in what God
promises to do for you! Keep your "promises" to others,
and you can rest and be assured that God will keep His promises to you!
Have
a Blessed Day!!
(God loves you, and so do I!)
In His Love, Luanne
