Morning!
Today, I am going to do
something a little different. Even though I have shared songs with you
all in my encouragements from time to time....the one I am about
to share now is going to be my "encouragement" for you
today! This is an old and familiar Hymn, so if you know the melody,
I encourage you to "sing" it...if you don't know the melody, then I
encourage you to read the words out loud and to think about what
they are saying. The Lord is so desiring for us to come up to a higher
level of "maturity and intimacy". I have made this song one of
my "prayers" to The Lord.....I hope you will do the same! I am
going to list the "verses" first, and then add the
"chorus" at the end, so that it will "linger" in your
heart all day every day!
I'm
pressing on the upward way, new heights I'm gaining every day;
Still
praying as I onward bound, "Lord, plant my feet on higher ground"!
My
heart has no desire to stay..where doubts arise and fears dismay.
Though
some may dwell where these abound, my prayer, my aim is higher ground!
I
want to live above the "world" and though Satan's darts at me are
hurled;
My
faith has caught the joyful sound...the song of saints on higher ground!
I
want to scale the utmost height and catch a gleam of glory bright;
But,
still I'll pray 'till heaven I've found..."Lord, plant my feet on higher
ground"!
(Before we sing the
"chorus", let me share....I can feel the presence of The Lord, and
there is such a powerful anointing on this song. It is the
"anointing that removes every burden and destroys every yoke"!!
Receive that prophetic word as you SING this unto The Lord!) ~~~~~~

Oh, precious ones....this
could be a "life-changing" message to you, or to someone that you
share these encouragements with. I am "receiving" that
prophetic word for myself, because I know how the
"anointing" can change us from "Glory to Glory", and I
want all that The Lord has for me!!! (So, I can bless
others!)
