Good Morning!

It is The Lord's desire for His children to "grow and mature"!  It is most definitly His desire for us to become more and more "intimate" with Him!  He created us to have a close and intimate relationship with Him.  You know what?  You can know who someone is, and you might even be personally acquainted with them, and you may even know what some of their "likes and dislikes" are...but that does not mean that you have an "intimate" relationship with them!

Many people know who Jesus is, and some of them know Him as their personal Savior, and some have taken time to read His Word and have found out what some of His "likes and dislikes" are.  However, not all of them have the kind of "intimacy" with Him that He desires!  Let me ask you something.....have you ever been "head over heels" in love with someone?  Just stop and think about it!  Come on now, you can remember.    All you had on your mind was that person!  You wanted to "talk" about them all the time....you wanted to "think" about them all the time...you were "writing" their name down everywhere you could write it....you "dreamed" about them....you just wanted to be "with" them 24/7....you had "chill bumps" come all over you when they touched you or spoke to you....just being in the same room with them was like"heaven on earth!  Okay!  I could go on, but I think you are getting the "picture"!  Jesus wants us to fall "head over heels" in love with Him!

That is what happened to me about twenty-eight years ago when Jesus baptized me in The Holy Spirit.  I was already a Christian, I knew Jesus as my personal Savior. I "loved" Jesus, but I had not "fallen in love" with Him!  I am sure that a lot of you have had this same "experience", so you can understand what I am talking about.  It is one thing to "love" someone, but quite another thing to be "in love" with them.  So, when that happened to me, I did "all of the above"!  In fact, I still do!!

This is a very unusual thing for me to talk about my own personal testimony, but The Lord has let me know that it is time for me to do so!  The only purpose for anyone's "testimony" is to bless others!  God is no "respecter" of persons, what He has done for one, He will do for others!

There is someone reading this today that is feeling the gentle "tugging" on their heart to desire a more "intimate" relationship with Jesus.....My prayer for you is that you will say, "Yes, Lord"!

Have a Blessed Day!!     (It is time to "grow and glow")!     In His Love, Luanne
