Good Morning!

Today, let's find out what The Holy Spirit wants us to "glean" from what is written in 2Corinthians 12:9 concerning the GRACE of God!  I am not going to "type out" what this scriptures says...I believe that you already did your "homework"!    So, what the Lord is wanting me to do today is "expound" on it.  In other words, to help us really understand what the scripture is saying to us today!  I did not know that He was going to do it this way, but you know what?...He is God, after all, and He can do whatever He wants to do in these "Encouragements"!

In this scripture The Lord tells the Apostle Paul that His GRACE is "sufficient" for him, no matter what his problem is and no matter what his "weaknesses" are!  He also defines His GRACE as being His "power and His strength", and says that it becomes most "effective" in Paul's weakness!  Oh!  Praise God!!!  He is saying the same thing to us, today!  If we did not have any challenges in our lives and if we did not have any weaknesses....we would not need God's GRACE!  Can you see this?   His GRACE gives us "power" to overcome our challenges, and it gives us "strength" when we are weak!  Bottom line....HIS GRACE REALLY IS "SUFFICIENT"!!!   We cannot depend upon our "own" power, or our "own" strength to overcome our weaknesses!  You know why?  Because we do not have any "power" or "strength" apart from Jesus!   Our "power" and our "strength" only comes from HIM!  This brings us back to what we found out in yesterday's Encouragement.....God's GRACE is in JESUS!  Oh!  How I love the "simplicity" of God's Word!!

Remember, I won't be sending out the "Encouragement" Thursday, but I will be back on Friday to talk about 1Corinthians 15:10 and I am excited about what The Holy Spirit will be teaching us!

Say this: "Lord, no longer will I come down upon myself because of my weaknesses! I know that you will use them as an opportunity to show me your GRACE!  I say with my "mouth" and believe in my "heart", that your GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR ME!

Have a Blessed Day!!    (His GRACE is "sufficient for YOU!)     In His Love, Luanne
