T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for July 11, 2006

Morning!
I
will continue sharing about the awesome power of God's "grace".
We must never think that we already know all there is to know about this
subject. I cannot tell you what to do, but as for me...I am going to
stay "teachable" in order to know more about His "marvelous
grace" because this kid NEEDS HIS GRACE OPERATING IN MY LIFE every
single day! Hey! guys and gals...it is "available" to
us, and He is taking time to teach us, by His Spirit, how to tap in to it!
Praise God!! So, let's move on to the second scripture that He
gave us for "homework" (see my "Encouragement" for June
09, 2006)~~~~~~~
2Timothy 1:9 (Amp.)
"For it is He who delivered and saved us and called us with a calling in
itself holy and leading to holiness----that is, to a life of consecration, a vocation
of holiness; [ He did it ] not because of anything of merit that we
have done, but because of and to further His own purpose and grace
which was given to us in Christ Jesus before the world began."
The "message" in
this scripture is so simple and plain......God's "grace" is IN Jesus!
It is NOT in our "good works"! So, if we are IN Jesus, and if
we "live and move and have our being IN Him" (Acts 17:28), then we
have access to His powerful grace. Romans 5:2 tells us that we have
"access" by faith into this grace wherein we can stand!
Did you get that? What did He say we were supposed to STAND in?
Our "faith", or His "grace"? I did not write this
"scripture"....the Holy Spirit did. So, don't get mad at me.
We have to remember that sometimes our "faith" is not strong enough
to change our "situations", but if we will use it to gain
"access" into His GRACE, then we have that "solid ROCK" to
stand on! Oh! The Holy Spirit has just reminded me of a
song....I am sure you know it so sing it with me~~~~~
THAT
"ROCK" IS JESUS......YES! HE'S THE ONE;
THAT
"ROCK" IS JESUS....THE "ONLY" ONE!
BE
VERY SURE.....BE VERY SURE....
YOUR
ANCHOR HOLDS AND GRIPS THE SOLID "ROCK"!!!
Say this......Lord, I know
that sometimes my faith is not as strong as it should be, but I will use the
faith that I have to gain "access" into your GRACE, and that is
where I will continue to stand!
