Morning!
First
of all, I need to let you all know that I put the wrong "date" on
yesterday's encouragement...just in case some of you got confused. See,
I am still having to "fess up" to making mistakes.
 Anyway,
I just wanted to clear that up!
As
I said yesterday, I want to share with you what I think about
"Independence Day".
I am grateful that we, as citizens of the
United States of America, were given the "freedom" from being
controlled by any and all other nations! So, in that sense,
"independence" is a good thing. However, when it comes to our
relationship with The Lord..."independence" is not a
good thing!
God has given us "freedom"
from being controlled by anything and everyone that keeps us from
being "totally de-pendent upon Him"! He wants us to depend
on Him in every area of our lives! So, enjoy "Independence
Day"...but stay dependent upon God "every
day"!
I won't be sending any encouragements next
week....my youngest granddaughter is coming from West Virginia to visit me.
It has been a long time since I have seen her and I am really looking forward
to spending some time with her...and maybe with my oldest granddaughter also!
I will be back with the
"encouragements" on Monday, July 11th~~~~~
