Morning!
We
really need to be aware of how detrimental "discontentment" can
be! I am not just preaching you a sermon.....I know what I am
talking about. I lived with it for many years, before I found out that
it was causing me to put my life "on hold"!
Jesus wants us to enjoy the life
that He has for us, but if
we are always "waiting" for our situations and circumstances to
change before we can be content and satisfied....then something is wrong with
"the picture"! I have found out from my own personal
experiences, that if my circumstances are not changing....maybe it
is because I am not allowing The Lord to "change" me!
It
is amazing what a simple "attitude adjustment" can do! I
have to go, on a regular basis, to my "Heavenly Chiropractor"
(Jesus) and say...."Lord, I need an attitude adjustment!".
This can be in all areas of our life, not just
"discontentment".
The
Apostle Paul said.."I have learned to be content, no matter
what state I am in".
So,
I guess that means that you can be content whether you live in Texas, Ohio,
California, Arizona, New Jersey, Florida, Michigan, Louisiana, Kansas.......
OK!
(just kidding)!
I
will get back to being "serious" tomorrow......and I can hear all of
you saying, "Thank you Jesus"!~~~~~~~~~
