Good Morning!

In one of my encouragements a while back, we sang a song... "like a tree planted by the waters, I shall not be moved".  Remember that?  Anyway, I said that I wanted to talk some more about the "tree" that the song referred to, but then The
Lord decided to go in a different direction for a while, and now He has chosen to take this up again.  Well, like I have said many times before, I am not the one that decides what to say in these "encouragements"...my job is to just "show up for work" and let The Holy Spirit say what He has to say, not what Luanne has to say...aren't you glad about that? After all, you don't need a "word" from me... you need a "word" from God!

In the 17th chapter of Jeremiah, verses 7 & 8, it says that the person who trusts and hopes in The Lord is as a tree planted by the waters....I encourage you to read these scriptures...and Psalms chapter one says the same thing (so, read this one also).  Isaiah 61:3 says that God calls us "trees of righteousness" planted by Him (add this scripture to your "homework") because tomorrow, I am going to share with you what The Holy Spirit has revealed to me about natural "trees".  Jesus always used the "natural" to relate to the "spiritual".  I believe that you are going to be blessed to know why God wants you to be "like a tree"!  I am excited about what The Lord is going to do with this!!  So, do your "homework", and get ready, get ready to be blessed!!!
