Okay, guys and gals . . . let's
pull up our "list" again. Remember? The "to do
list" of what we need to CHOOSE every day? It's okay if
you don't have it handy . . . I will bring it up again for you ~~~~
#1. I choose to "keep
my life simple"!
#2. I choose to "keep
my heart pure"!
#3. I choose to "keep
my mind stayed upon YOU, Lord"!
The Lord is wanting to add some
"revelation" to you about making these "choices".
In other words, He has laid a foundation and wants to "build" upon
it. That is the way He has always done things! I have not
gotten to #3 yet, but I will! He is wanting to give you a "Word
in due season" about the first two choices before He moves on to #3.
I'm okay with that . . . how about you?
Let's look at #1 . . . If you
have "clutter" in your LIFE (and as I said before, the
Holy Spirit is the only one that can reveal to you what that "clutter'
is), THEN it could definitely cause you to make some wrong
decisions in your daily life! That is because any kind of
"clutter" always tends to make us want to
"procrastinate" . . . we want to put off doing what we know we
should be doing. Then, that will eventually make us feel guilty,
and so we make "choices" to do something that makes us feel better
about ourselves! Can you see how by NOT making the
"right" choices early in the day, will eventually cause us to
make "wrong" choices? This "principle" is true
about the other "choices" that The Lord is giving us to make!
God does not MAKE our "choices and decisions" for us!
He leaves that up to us, because He has given us a "free will" to
make our own choices! However, He does tell what we can
"choose" to do in order to be pleasing to Him and also to help us
grow up and mature spiritually in order to walk in the Covenant blessings
that He has for us! He is also wanting to "prepare" us for
what He has "prepared" for us in this time of "new
beginnings"!
I will take up #2 in my next
Encouragement, which I will be sending out Thursday. I will
be talking about "choosing" to KEEP YOUR HEART PURE . .
. It may surprise you to find out how that can make a profound difference
in your "everyday" choices and decisions! Stay tuned in ~~~~
