A WORD IN DUE SEASON

I did not get to send an Encouragement out on Tuesday . . . had some "flies in the ointment" that I needed to get rid of!     But I think that all is well now!  So, I will continue on with what The Lord is speaking to us about in this year of "new beginnings"!  He is preparing us to be able to "receive" everything that HE has prepared for us!  He has been talking to us about "making our choices" in line with His Word.  He has been telling us to keep our lives "simple", our hearts "pure" and our minds stayed upon Him.  Which by the way, is something that we have to "choose" to do! He will show us how to do this, but it is still up to us to "choose" and "decide" to do it!  He is telling us to get rid of "clutter" in our life, our heart and our mind!  I encourage you, right now, to make a "to do list" for this new year . . . you can start with listing these three things!!

#1.  I choose to "keep my life simple"!

#2.  I choose to "keep my heart pure"!

#3.  I choose to "keep my mind stayed upon YOU, Lord"!   

I would not be able to "define" what the clutter in your life might be . . . only The Lord would be able to do that, because different people have different things in their lives that keep them from "simplifying" their life.  I encourage you to ASK The Lord to "show" you what you need to get rid of and I know for a fact that He will show you if you ask Him to.  If you will "listen" to His instruction to you, personally, you will be able to "keep your life simple"!  Okay, that takes care of #1 on your "to do list"!

As I said, I may not be able to tell you what might be "cluttering" up your life . . . but, I can tell you about some things that the enemy uses to "clutter up" your heart and your mind!  The Lord will give us that "Word in due season" in my next Encouragement!  Hope to see you tomorrow!
