A WORD IN DUE SEASON
When Jesus left this
earth, instead of someone giving Him a "going away gift", He gave
gifts to those that "believe" in Him. The two
"gifts" that He gave us are so valuable and precious and powerful!
He gave us HIS "peace" and His "joy"! He knew that
these were the two things that we would need in our life in order to live in
victory over the enemy! He had already given us HIS "name" . .
. He had already given us "authority and power" over all the
power of the devil" . . . He had already redeemed us from sickness,
disease, grief, sorrow, poverty, pain and spiritual death! So,
He left us these two "gifts" that He knew would help us hold fast to
what He had already given us and done for us!
I remember the day that I
asked the Lord this question . . . "Lord, I believe that you have given
me YOUR "peace and joy", but there are times when I seem to lose
that peace and joy. What can I do to keep me from losing what
you have given me"? He has answered that question for me, and
I did not get a revelation of it all at once. However, over a period of
time, He has revealed to me the three things that I can do. This is
what He has told me to do ~~~~ Keep your life "simple" .
. . keep your heart "pure" . . . and keep your mind
"stayed upon me"! This "instruction" that He
has given me has become another one of my "choices" that I make
every morning. I open my mouth and I say to The Lord . . .
"Today, I choose to keep my life simple, my heart pure and my mind stayed
upon you Lord"! This has been life-changing for me!
I am going to expound on
each one of these three "principles", and when I am done . . . I
believe that you will make this one of YOUR choices each day! I
will start with the one about "keeping your life simple".
Once again, I must say this . . . The Lord is giving us a "Word in due
season"! Do you want to know how to KEEP the two
"gifts" that Jesus left to you? See you tomorrow~~~~~~~
