Morning!
If
your answer to the "question" I gave you yesterday is
"faith", then you have given the right answer! FAITH
"produces" good fruit....FEAR "produces" bad
fruit. Jesus said that we would be "known" by our fruit!
God said that He would create the "fruit" of our lips (what we say).
He also said that we will have whatsoever we SAY! Are you getting
the "picture"? If we speak our "fears",
then we will have the fruit that fear produces. For example...when you
say, "I am so afraid that I will lose my job"...or, "I am
so afraid that I will not have enough money to pay my bills"...or,
"I am so afraid that things won't turn out like I want them
to"...or, "I am so afraid that I will not be able to do what God has
called me to do"...or, "I am so afraid that so-and-so won't like
me"....or, "I am so afraid that I will not be healed"...or,
"I am so afraid that I will have the same addiction or disease
that my parents had"....or, "I am so afraid that I am going to
get the swine-flu, bird flu or whatever else kind of flu"....Hello!
You
might think that I have really gotten out in "left-field", but I was
trying to "touch" on everything and/or anything that you might be
afraid of! My point is this....The Lord tells us over and over again, in
His Word, FEAR NOT! Why? Because, you cannot operate in
"fear" and "faith" at the same time! They are
"opposing" forces! Let me repeat.....FEAR produces bad
fruit in your life, but FAITH produces good fruit in your life!
There is so much more to share about this, so if you did not give up on me
while you were reading the above paragraph...then you will be blessed when
you read next week's "encouragements"!
In
the meantime....think about what you are "saying". Do not say
the words, "I am afraid"! In fact, don't even think the
words, "I am afraid"! FEAR is a "peace-stealer" and
Jesus wants you to live in PEACE!
