Morning!
Well,
well, well....guess what? Now, I really understand the
"phrase" PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH! I was given the
opportunity to be a "doer of the word" that I have been
sharing all this month (which is about "talking covenant-talk" in
the midst of your problems and situations)! I am so thankful that God
has given me confidence in that "truth", because I saw Him come
through with flying colors when I did what I had been telling you all to do!
I
will try to keep this "short and simple", but I really feel like I
need to share with you about the "faithfulness" of God!
Remember what I said earlier this month....When we talk
"covenant-talk", God hears us and watches over His Word to perform
it!
We
had a "storm" come through Austin Saturday night...a lot of power
outages...the power would go off, then come back on and go off again.
Well, I found out the next morning that my computer was down. The
"outages" had damaged my hard-drive. I got a new hard-drive
installed, but it looked as though I had lost everything that I had
stored in my files, especially my "mailing-list"! This is
the reason that I was not able to send the encouragements out. I
immediately began to talk "covenant-talk" over my computer and
situation, even though my flesh wanted to murmur and complain and get into
fear. However, I knew that kind of attitude would not
change anything! So, I just kept speaking God's Word concerning
"restoration" and long story short, God "restored"
all of my lost files (including my mailing-list)!! That was a
"miracle"! There is so much more to this story about how it
all came to pass, but my point is this~~~~God hears us when we "talk
covenant-talk"! He is "ever mindful of His covenant",
and He wants us to be "ever mindful of His covenant"!
The
reason that you are receiving this encouragement today is because God is so
faithful to do what He has promised to do, if we will just believe
Him and release our faith in His covenant promises by talking
"covenant-talk"!
Thank
you for letting me share with you a "personal" example of
what I have been talking to you about! He will do the same thing for you
if you will do what I did! The only reason He did it for me
is because I kept talking "covenant-talk"! You can do the same
thing and receive the same "results"! Praise God! He is
no respecter of persons! Can I get an AMEN?
