Good Morning!

OOPS!  I need to apologize....I told you all yesterday that I was going to share some "scriptures" about leaning on Jesus.  Well, then I got so caught up in "singing" and "leaning", that I forgot to give them to you..sorry about that!

So, today, I will load you up with "homework"!  I am taking all of these scriptures from the Amplified Bible. If you don't have one, I encourage you to get one.  It does not change the "context" of what is said in the King James version...all it does, is just "amplify" the meaning of the "words" written!~~~~

Proverbs 3:5 tells us to trust in God (lean on Him), and it also tells us not to lean on our "own understanding".

Psalms 112:7 tells us that if we will trust in God (lean upon Him), our hearts will be firmly fixed and we will not be afraid of "bad news" (or "bad reports").

All of the following scriptures talk about "leaning on God with your entire human personality".....I love that!  This means that we can just "be ourselves" with God.  You might as well get "real" with Him...He knows you!  Don't get "religious" with God!  Here are those scriptures~~~~~~~~~

Colossians 1:4      1Thessalonians 1:8      1Thessalonians 3:7      2Thessalonians 1:11
2Timothy 1:5      Hebrews 10:22      Hebrews 13:7

I encourage you to read these scriptures, and if you do not have an Amplified Bible, then whenever you see the word "faith" or "trust".... just think about it as saying, "leaning on God with your whole personality in complete trust and confidence in His power, His wisdom and His goodness"!   Wow!   I don't know about you, but this gives me the desire to be "willing and obedient" to LEAN ON JESUS, no matter what my circumstances or situations are!  If I am "leaning" on Him, that means that I am "trusting" Him to take care of me and my situations.  In Hebrews 13:5, Jesus said...."I will never forsake you or let you down"!

It "pleases" God when we "lean on Him"....and Proverbs 16:7 says "When a man's ways please The Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him".  That ought to motivate you to "please the Lord"!   AMEN?

Have a Blessed Day!!       (Keep "leaning on Jesus"!)            In His Love, Luanne
