T.O.D.A.Y.’s ENCOURAGEMENT for JANUARY 2, 2003

Good Morning!

It is so good to be back on, again, sharing the love of Jesus with all of you wonderful people!   Hope everyone had a Blessed Holiday season!!!

This really is a time of new beginnings....a time to thank God for His mercy and forgiveness for all of our past mistakes; to forget them and move forward.   If we try to drive, while only looking thru the rear view mirror..... we are going to be in a "heap" of
trouble!  (excuse the "pun")  There is no way that we can move forward, if our focus is on what is behind us.

The apostle Paul put it this way: "...this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth to those things  which are before me, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."  I want to share some more about this scripture tomorrow.

Right now, I want to take this opportunity to welcome all of our new readers that signed up over the holidays....thank you for your interest and may  T.O.D.A.Y.'S Encouragements bless you and encourage you in your everyday walk with The Lord!

Above all, I want to thank our partners and friends for all of your wonderful support this past year!  It is because of your prayers, gifts, and generosity that we have been able to touch hundreds of lives with the Word and the Love of Jesus......Great shall be your reward!!!!!!!!!!!!

As most of you already know, I have talked a lot about the need to "simplify" our lives in order to enjoy "The Life" that Jesus has for us, so I am sure that will continue to be a major "theme" in the upcoming year.  I am excited about what God did in 2002, but He is a God of "increase", so get your expectations up for 2003!!!
