                                                   "A Word in due season"

 

In Mark 11:23, Jesus tells us . . . that we "Shall have whatsoever we SAY"! 

 

I want to share something with you that inspired me to remind you of the above scripture.  I received a phone call from someone that was wanting to know if the devil could read our minds.  They were wanting a "scripture" in the Bible that confirmed this.  I was led to share with them the "scriptures" that talked about how important the "words of our mouth are".  I could not give them a "scripture" that said that the devil could not "read our mind".  So, I just kept telling them what God's word said about our "spoken words"!  Such as . . . the above "scripture", and many other "scriptures" about the "power" of our SPOKEN words! 

 

After I hung up the phone, I asked The Lord about that question that was asked . . . "Can the devil read our minds?" ~~~~ this is what I heard Him say . . . "it does not matter whether or not the devil can read your mind. He does not need to, IF he is the one that put those thoughts in your mind in the first place.  However, he cannot enforce his "thoughts" unless you SPEAK them out of your mouth".

 

  If we "speak" contrary to the Word of God, then the devil can enforce those words and bring them to pass.  If we "speak" what God's Word says, then HE will watch over those words to perform them and bring them to pass!  However, we have to KNOW what God's Word says, before we can know the difference of whether our "thoughts" are coming from HIM or from the devil!  If a thought comes to our mind that says, "you are not going to be able to pay your bills", or "this is the swine-flu season and you are going to get it", or "you are not going to get your healing", or "your children are never going to be delivered from their bondage", etc.  Those "thoughts" are not from God!  Open your mouth and SAY . . . "My God SHALL supply all of my needs", and SAY "Jesus bore all of my sickness and diseases and by His stripes I am healed", and SAY "God has given me His Word that all of my children WILL come out of the camp of the enemy and return to their borders"!  Don't worry about the devil "reading your mind" . . . You just need to make sure that you are "reading God's mind"!  We do that by reading His Word, and becoming "WORD-minded"!  I am going to share some more about this subject later~~~~
