A WORD IN DUE SEASON

Before we start adding to our list of "choices", let's finish up with #3 (which is choosing to keep your mind stayed upon The Lord).  Well, we have talked about how a "cluttered" mind will keep you from doing that, and we have talked about some of the things that CLUTTER up our minds.  I listed many of those things at the beginning of this message on making "choices".  I encourage you to refer back to that list.  Now, let's talk about HOW to get rid of that CLUTTER, and HOW to keep it from "coming and staying" in our minds!

We have to "recognize" the CLUTTER for what it is . . . then we can get rid of it by staying "word-minded'!  We can become "word-minded" by knowing what God says in His Word about all of our situations!  Once we become "word-minded", we will begin to SPEAK God's Word out of our mouth concerning that "situation", and that is the way that we "pull down strongholds, and cast down all imaginations that the CLUTTER has caused and this will remind us to "take ALL of our thoughts captive in obedience to Jesus"!  (Read 2 Corinthians 10: 4-5.)  God makes everything so "simple" for us, if we will just "DO IT HIS WAY"! 

Today, we have talked about HOW to get rid of the CLUTTER that accumulates in our minds, and in my next Encouragement, we will talk about HOW to keep that CLUTTER out of your minds!  If you have a problem with "worry" . . . or finding yourself trying to "reason things out" . . . or finding yourself "becoming frustrated, distressed and distraught", then this is a WORD IN DUE SEASON  for you!  If you have "received" these instructions from The Lord about how to get RID of that CLUTTER, then you are ready to receive The Lord's instructions on how to KEEP that CLUTTER out of your minds, so that you can really "KEEP YOUR MIND STAYED UPON HIM", and be able to walk in the PEACE that He wants you to have!  See you Thursday!~~~~~
