A WORD IN DUE SEASON

One more time, I am going to talk about #3 on our list of "choices" that we need to make on a daily basis.  This is such an important "choice" to make, if we want to have that PEACE that The Lord wants us to have!

#3.  I CHOOSE to keep my "mind" stayed upon the Lord!  Do you still have the "list" that we started with?  Keep it handy, because we are going to be adding some more choices to that "list"!

Making the "choice" each day to keep your mind stayed upon Him, will "help" you become aware of the CLUTTER in your mind that will hinder you from keeping your mind stayed upon Him!  Even if we make the "choice", we cannot keep our mind stayed upon Him, if it is full of CLUTTER!  So, let's look at some of the things that can CLUTTER up our mind~~~~~ 

One of those things is when we begin "to REASON" in our minds, such as trying to figure every thing out!  God's Word calls it "leaning to our own understanding"!  We want everything to make "sense" to our minds!  Forget it!!!  The Bible says that "spiritual things don't make any sense to the CARNAL mind"!  It also says that is why we have to RENEW our minds with the WORD OF GOD!  If you remember, I shared with you that this is how I started learning how to "keep my mind stayed upon The Lord" . . . I became "Word minded" by trusting in His WORD!  And the only way that I could have possibly done that, is to KNOW what His Word says!  That requires spending time reading His WORD!  And, not only READING it . . . but "believing it and receiving it"! 

For example ~~~  Let's say that you have been wanting God to do a certain thing for you . . . well, if God doesn't come through at YOUR "appointed time", then you begin to "reason in your mind" and you decide to come up with YOUR "plan B"!  Precious ones . . . that is CLUTTER!!  Because when you start thinking about your "plan B", that is when you left off "keeping your mind stayed upon The Lord"!   I know that this has to be a WORD IN DUE SEASON for someone!  More to come, so stay tuned in!  See you tomorrow ~~~~~~
