Morning!
Today,
I want to go back to 2Corinthians 10:5.....I hope you did your
"homework" and read that, because it is one of the
"peace-keepers". If you have just "tuned in", you
may want to go to the website and read some of the previous encouragements.
I have been talking about "peace-stealers" and
"peace-keepers".
FEAR
is what "steals" our peace (I gave you scriptures concerning
that), and FAITH is what "keeps" us in peace (I have given you
some scriptures concerning that). You cannot operate in FEAR and FAITH
at the same time...they are "opposing" forces! Let me make
it real "simple"....FEAR is "believing" what the
devil is saying to you. FAITH is "believing"
what The Lord has already said! Of course, you have to know
what The Lord has said, in order to have FAITH in it! Jesus knew this,
and that is why He was able to tell the devil.."It is written"!
However, Jesus did not just tell the devil, "It is
written"...He told him WHAT was written! Well, then you
cannot tell the devil..."It is written" if you do not know what
is written! This is really "simple", don't try to
"complicate" it! When "thoughts" come to your mind
that bring FEAR to you, then "open your mouth" and SAY what is
written in the Word of God concerning that particular situation!
If
you do not know what God's Word says about that "situation"
that is causing you to be fearful, then send me an email and I will give you
the "scriptures". However, if you do not go to The Word and
read them for yourself, then you may find yourself in that same situation
again! God wants to speak to you "personally" from
His "Word", not just from His "messenger"!
Oh! That ought to be a "revelation" to somebody!
Well,
I just "type" what He tells me to type! I had planned to
talk about 2Corinthians 10:5.....maybe He will have me to do that tomorrow.
However, as I think about what He just gave me to say....it really does
"relate" to what 2Corinthians 10:5 is saying!
