Good
Morning!
Even
though The Lord wants us to learn how to be "content" in
every situation, it does not mean that He wants us to be "content" with
every situation. All of us are going to find ourselves in
"undesirable" situations from time to time. However, the
Word of God says that these situations are "temporal" (subject to
change). You can read that in 2Corinthians 4:18. Notice the word
"look" in that scripture...to "look" at something means to
"focus" on it.
So,
if we choose to "focus" on our situation,
instead of "focusing" on the fact that God said it was "subject
to change", then we will not be able to be content (keep a peaceful
state of mind). So, it is up to us....we can "murmur and
complain" about our situation and slow down the process of
"change", or we can decide to let the "peace of God rule
in our hearts". The quicker we make a decision to be content
"in" our situations, the quicker our situations will
"change"! God cannot go against our "will", He allows
us to make our own choices.
I had planned to talk about God's will
for us according to 3John verse 2, but that will have to wait until
tomorrow~~~~~
Have
a Blessed Day!! (Your situation is subject to change!)
His Love, Luanne
