Morning!
I
know that this day of the year is recognized by most people as
"Valentine's Day". In fact, it is even on most
"calendars" as that. It is a day when people take time to
send "messages" of love to others, and give "gifts"
as an expression of their love.
There
is nothing wrong with that, but you know what? We can (and should) do
that every day.....God does! Aren't you glad He doesn't wait
until February 14 of every year to let us know how much He loves us? We
can open our Bibles every day and read His "messages" of love
to us. We can receive His gifts (blessings) every day, and
thank Him for them, because they are an "expression" of His love for
us!
James
1:17 tells us that every good and perfect "gift" comes from
The Lord...and the greatest "gift", that expressed His love, was
when He gave JESUS (John 3:16).
If
you have not received this "gift", then I encourage you to do
that TODAY! If you have received this "gift", then I
encourage you to share it with others EVERY DAY! It is the best
"expression" of your love and God's love
that you could ever give!
