Good Morning!

Okay!  Back to the "garden"...but today, we are going to look at the positive side of the "coin"!  I am all about that!   How about you?   However, Jesus (Himself), used the "negative" to show us how much better the "positive" is. He even told us how to
eliminate the "negative" in order to accentuate the "positive"!  For example, He  said that if we would build our house (our life) on a solid foundation (the "Rock"), then the "storms of life" would not be able to cause us to fall!  But, if we build our lives on anything other than Jesus, then we are going to end up on "sinking sand", and every time a "storm" comes into our lives....we "fall apart at the seams"!  Can anyone "relate" to this?  Read Matthew 7: 24 - 27.

I want to use this "illustration" to show you how you can stay "one step ahead of the devil"! Don't wait until he takes your "negative thoughts" and gets you to "speak them out of your mouth" in order for him to plant "weeds" in your heart (garden).  Start "planting" good seeds in your heart that will "choke" out his weeds, instead of letting the cares of this world "choke" out the Word of God! (Mark 4: 19).

You may be asking...."How do we do that? How do we plant good seeds in to our heart?"  The "answer is"....the same way that you plant bad seeds (weeds) in to your heart.  You do it with the "words of your mouth"!  Every "word" that you speak out of your mouth is a "seed"!  When you read your Bible....read it out loud!  When you read you daily devotionals....read them out loud!  When you read these "daily encouragements"....read them out loud!  "Hear" what you are saying, remember that "faith" comes by "hearing" not by "reading"!  (Romans 10:17).  So, when you hear yourself "speaking" the Word of God...not only does that bring "faith" to your heart, but you are planting "good seeds" in your heart (garden)!

Now, isn't that a "simple" message or what?   I love the "simplicity" of the Gospel! By the way....the word "Gospel" means  GOOD NEWS!

Have a Blessed Weekend!!       (Keep it Simple!)              In His Love, Luanne
