Good
Morning!
Did
you "cast your cares upon The Lord" this morning? (I am referring
back to the encouragement that I sent Friday). If you did, then there is
no need for you and Jesus both to be carrying them! He has
promised to take care of everything that concerns you, so it is up to you to
"decide" whether or not you are going to TRUST Him to do what He
said He would do!
You
may be saying..."yes, Luanne, but what if I cast my cares upon Him, and
He doesn't come through for me?". Well, if you are asking
that question, then you are not "trusting" Him, and without faith
(trust), you cannot receive anything from The Lord! (read Hebrews 11:6
and James 1: 6 & 7).
If
you have had this "question" in your mind, just remember that you
are not alone about this....our adversary, the devil, puts this question in all
of our minds! Think about it....he started this with Eve, in the
garden of Eden (Genesis 3:1). He got her to "question" what God
had said! So, she went with her "thoughts" instead of God's
Word...shared it with Adam, and the rest is "history"! All
Adam had to do was tell the devil "Get out of my garden! I believe what
God said"! He didn't do that, but you can!
When you begin to "question" the
promises of God, just remember that it is your enemy, the devil, that is
putting those thoughts in your mind. When that happens, just open your mouth
and say (out loud)...."Devil, get out of my garden! I believe what God
says, and I "trust" Him to do what He said He would do"!
Have
a Blessed Day!! (say this..."devil, get out of my
garden!") In His Love, Luanne
