Good Morning!

Yesterday, I shared a few lines from the song, " 'tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus", and today I want to talk about how those words can apply to each one of us personally!

The word "sweet" describes our relationship and fellowship with the Lord.  All of us can relate, in the natural, to a friendship or a companionship that just has a certain "sweetness" to it.  And, so it is with Jesus...He grows sweeter and sweeter as the days go by!

Then, next, is the word "trust"...I have learned so much about this word through the years that has really opened up the "eyes of my understanding", and I will share that at another time.... but for now I will just talk about the complete phrase "trust in Jesus".

We are to put our trust in Him and Him alone!  The Bible tells us that He is faithful, trustworthy and can be depended upon!  We can depend upon Jesus, even if we can't depend upon anyone else!!!!  He will never let us down!

We will talk about the rest of those verses tomorrow!
