THE DITCH
DIGGER
Satan is the ditch digger
He digs it wider and bigger
He wants to push you into a
slime pit
He is hoping for the fatal
hit
He puts obstacles in your
pathway
To trip you up along the way
Causing you to stumble into
the ditch
You may fall in but it is
only a glitch
Don't wallow in the ditch in
despair!
Climb out! You don't belong
there!
Don't get comfortable inside
that ditch!
Reach out to Jesus! Climb out
of that pit!
Extend your hands out to God
in faith
To the one who saves you by
His grace
God sees you in that pit. He
knows you are there
He is waiting for you to call
on Him. He will be there
Psalm 40:1-2
Our enemy is a deceiver and
will try as hard as he can to trip us up so we will
fall into a ditch on either side of the straight and
narrow path God wants us to walk in.
BUT GOD! He is mightier than
our enemy the devil and God is very capable of
helping us out of any ditch we may fall into. Reach
out to God by calling on His name.
He is a very present help in
time of need. Trust God, He will clean off all the
dirt from the fall and He will set you on the
straight and narrow path to continue on your journey
with Him.
May the
grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all.
