Good Morning!

In my last Encouragement, I finished talking about the different pieces of the "armor of God", which is one of the garments from our spiritual wardrobe that The Lord has given us and told us to "put on".  There are many more things that we need to "put on" and "take up", but before I start talking about those things, I want to include something else from that sixth chapter of Ephesians.

In verse 18, The Apostle Paul was telling us to make sure that we had on the whole armor of God, in order to pray and intercede effectively!  He told us "when to pray" (at all times) . . . he also told us "how to pray" (in the Spirit, with all manner of prayer) . . . he also told us "who to pray for" (the Saints). He is referring to anyone and everyone that has been born again and are members of the body of Christ!  Precious ones, he was telling us to do the same thing that The Holy Spirit is telling us to do TODAY!  Pray for the CHURCH!  I am not talking about just the church building that you attend, but about the entire body of Christ, and those consecrated and dedicated ones that are holding forth the "words of Life" to others!  So, then . . . in verse 19, Paul makes a personal request for prayer.  This verse is a continuation from verse 18, and as I was reading it while sending out my last Encouragement, the Lord told me that I needed to make this same "request"!  I choose to be obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit . . . so, I am going to "paraphrase" Paul's request,  and make it my "personal" request for prayer ~~~~~~

verse 19 . . . "pray also for me, that freedom of utterance may be given me, that I may open my mouth to proclaim boldly the good news of the Gospel, for which I am an ambassador.  Pray that I may declare it boldly and courageously as I ought to do".

Thank you for praying for me and this ministry!  Now I want to pray for you what Paul prayed for the Ephesians in verses 23 & 24 ~~~~~~ "Peace be to the brethren, and love joined with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One.  Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with undying and incorruptible love"!  Amen - - - so be it!

Have a Blessed Day!!              (Do you have your "armor" on?)               In His Love, Luanne
