Good
Morning and Merry Christmas!
This is an ongoing "series"
about God's covenant with His people, so you might want to take notes or print
the "messages" out for future reference or refer back to all of the
previous "encouragements" about this. What ever effort
you make to get hold of this "life-changing" Word of God, will be
worth the "effort"! This "revelation" has given me
so much confidence in the covenant promises of God. I really and truly
have come to a place, in my faith, to EXPECT God to fulfill everyone of
His covenant promises to Me!
I will be talking about those
"promises" later, as we go along....but for now, I am still
laying a "foundation"! Before we can stand on the
covenant promises, we have to understand "why" we have a
right to stand on them and trust God to bring them to pass!
The definition of the word
"covenant"..... a binding and solemn
agreement between two or more individuals. Now, we are going
to talk about the word "mindful". God says in Psalms
111:5 that He is ever mindful of His covenant. He also tells us that we
need to be "mindful" of His covenant!
The definition of the word
"mindful".....always having in mind, aware of. To
have in mind also means to "remember"! Oh! I
am getting excited now....please get hold of this! Genesis 8:1 says that
"God remembered Noah"! That does not mean that God
remembered Noah's name....it means that God remembered His
"covenant" with Noah, and did not leave Noah stranded in the
overwhelming waters of the flood! It was because of "that" covenant
that people still continued to "live on the earth".
He also remembered His covenant with Abraham (Exodus 2:24).
It was because of "that" covenant that Jesus came
so that people can "live in Heaven"!
If God "remembered" Noah
and Abraham (under the old covenant), He surely will remember
YOU under the new covenant! I don't know about you, but I
want to hear "the rest of the story"!
Have
a Blessed Day!!
(Be "covenant mindful"!) In
His Love, Luanne
