Good
Morning and Merry Christmas!
I
am going to be talking about being "covenant minded" until The Lord
gives me another assignment. You do not need me to give you all the
"scriptures" that will confirm the fact that we do have
a covenant with God...if you read your Bible, then you already know
that! However, if you are a Christian and you do not
know about the "covenant" then I encourage you to use a
concordence to look up all of those scriptures.
Anyway, my
"assignment" is to help you to be mindful of that
"covenant" in your everyday life! So, assuming that you know
and believe that you have a covenant with God (according to
His Word), then you need to know how that can affect your lives in
the "here and now"...not just in the "hereafter'! I pray
that all of you will get a "revelation" about how this can increase your
faith concerning your everyday, personal situations!
First of all, we need to "trust"
in the fact that God, Himself, is ever mindful of His covenant
(Psalms 111:5). Then, we need to make a quality decision to obey
His Word that says for us to be "mindful" of His covenant
(1Chronicles 16:15). If you will read that scripture, you will find that it is
a "commandment", not only to the people who were living in the Old
Testament....but to "all generations"! That would include us,
right? So, if we are not being "mindful" of His covenant
with us then we are being "disobedient"!
Sorry, I just can't get it all said in
one "encouragement", so, guess what? You are going to have to
stay tuned in, but trust me.... you will be glad you did!~~~~~
Have
a Blessed Day!! (God has a covenant
with you!) In His Love, Luanne
