Morning!
I
will be starting with verse 17 from Proverbs chapter 3.... but before I do
that, I want to share with you what the Holy Spirit has revealed to me about God's
"wisdom". I am sure that most of you already have this
"revelation", but there may be someone reading these encouragements
that needs to hear what the Lord wants me to share.
First
of all, Proverbs is not talking about the "world's" kind
of wisdom. It is talking about "God's" wisdom, and the Amplfied
Bible defines His wisdom as "Godly and skillful wisdom".
One day, I asked The Lord..."What is the difference between the
two?". His answer was so simple, and yet so profound!
It has helped me in so many situations in my life. He explained to me
that "Godly wisdom" shows you WHAT to do, and
"skillful wisdom" shows you HOW to do it!
Isn't that awesome? Stop and think about it....sometimes we know what
to do, but we don't know how to do it. At other times we may know
how to do something if we just knew what it was that we needed
to do. Then there are those times when we don't know either
one!
 That is why we have to
"depend" upon The Lord for both! He has made
"Godly wisdom" and "skillful wisdom" available to us.
I encourage you to think about this each time you see the word
"wisdom" in your daily bible reading!
By
the way.....I stand on this "revelation" everytime someone is working
on my car, or anything else that I am having repaired. I also stand on
it when I am praying for someone that is in the hospital, or any other
situation that I think requires "Godly and skillful wisdom"!
I just say, "Father, give Godly and
skillful wisdom to those mechanics...or to those repairmen....or to those
doctors...or to our President....or to myself and my children"!
I truly believe that any and all situations could end up being
"victorious" by getting God's wisdom involved! I love the
"simplicity" of it! God will show us, and others, what
to do and how to do it! Think about it! I get excited
about sharing the "truth" of God's Word!
Well,
I didn't get to verse 17.
 However,
what I have shared is pretty much what the entire book of Proverbs
is all about....the "wisdom of God"! I will plan on
getting back to the "verses" next week. See you
