Good Morning!
Well,
I want to welcome some more new readers! We are becoming a verrrry big
"family"! Thank you for your interest in the daily
encouragements and may they be a blessing to you. Please feel free to
"share" them with your friends and family. I really appreciate all
of you that "forward" these encouragements to others, you are
helping me to do what the Lord has "assigned" me to do, and
that is to reach out to others with a word of encouragement, hope and
"peace"!
I
was talking all last week about "Peace", and how important it is for
us to receive that "gift" that the precious Lord Jesus has
made available to us! We are going to be celebrating
"Christmas" soon, and everyone is thinking about the
"gifts" that they want to buy for their family and
friends. You know what? Jesus has given us two "gifts"
that we can also share with them, and He has already paid for those
gifts....it won't cost us anything to share them with others! Those
"gifts" are PEACE and JOY!
We
have been given the "Peace of The Lord" (John 14:27)....and
the "Joy of The Lord" (John 15:11). So, let's
take these two "gifts" that have been "freely" given to
us...."wrap" them up in God's wrapping paper of LOVE, and then share
them with everyone we come in contact with! I don't know about you, but
to me, that sounds like a wonderful "Christmas" present!! Also,
it is one that you can "give" every day of the year!
