Morning! The
person typing this is not the person who usually types them. Luanne
had an accident and can't type at the moment. Her plan was to give you
the scriptures for the message she sent out on Wednesday. And you know
what? I can do that for her! Isaiah
53:5 says, "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for
our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him and by His stripes
we are Healed. It's
a done deal! We WERE healed more than 2000 years ago! Exodus
15:26 says, "If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do
what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His
statutes, I will put NONE of the diseases on you which I have brought on the
Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you." In
this scripture God reveals an aspect of His own character by the name He uses
for Himself. The Hebrew word is Jehovah Raphah, which has been
translated to 'the Lord who heals you'. In Hebrew 'Raphah' means: to
cure or cause to heal as a physician or repairman. To thoroughly make
whole. John
16:23 says, " . . . Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the
Father in My name He will give you." This
is Jesus speaking. He has authorized us to use His name to ask
for our healing. It is much like giving us His 'credit card', only His
name carries much more power than any little piece of plastic. And the
scripture I've used is not the only scripture in the New Testament that talks
about this authorization. Why not use your concordance and see what else
YOU can find? I'm
sure Luanne will be back to work as soon as possible. Jehovah Raphah has
