I have an announcement to make in this Encouragement, but before I do that, I want to share with you what happened that opened my eyes to "see" that there really was MORE that The Lord had made available to me (and to anyone and everyone that desires ALL that God has for them in this earthly walk with Him)! It started when my sister sent me a book entitled "A New Song" . . . it was written by Pat Boone. I don't know if this book is still available but if it is, I encourage you to read it. Even if you have already had this "second experience", you can share it with those that have not had it, but are "seeking" after more of God. Anyway . . . Pat's wife, Shirley wrote some of her comments in this book and as I was reading what she had to say I knew that The Lord had put this book in my hands! She wrote . . . "I finally found the POWER TO BE CONSISTENT". Those words literally leapt off of the page and went directly into my heart and spirit! This is what I had been searching for, and The Lord knew it! He is so awesome! Long story short . . . I received this "second experience" for myself, and it started me off on a "new life" journey with The Lord. Not only have I found out how The Power of The Holy Spirit can keep me "consistent in the things of God", but also I have found out that He can give ME the power to be LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD! He can give me the power to "overcome" and have "victory" in my life, so that I can really be a "witness" to other people! I am still on this "journey" and I have much more to share with you about what I have found out about having this POWER that Jesus said we would receive AFTER The Holy Spirit comes UPON us (Acts 1:8)!

Now, for my "announcement" . . . I am going to have to put my Encouragements on "hold" for now. I am having some problems with my computer . . . it has gotten very "sluggish" and this is starting to be very "frustrating" for me. So, I am going to have to have some work done on it to "tune it up" or "clean it out" or whatever! I do not know for sure when I will be back with them, but YOU can know this for sure . . . I WILL BE BACK! And I will continue to share about how to be LED BY THE SPIRIT!
