Morning!
For
quite some time now, The Lord has had me sharing about how important it is to
be LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD in order for you to have the victory and success
in your life that you need to have. Well, I know for a fact that it
would be very hard, if not impossible, for anyone to be LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT
if they do not know The Holy Spirit personally! You might know that He
is on the inside of you, if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior,
but that does not mean that you know Him in a personal way! Many
people refer to The Holy Ghost as an "it" . . . He is not an
"it", He is a "person". He is part of the
"God-Head" which is known as the "Trinity" which is made
up of three "persons" . . . GOD the Father, GOD the Son, and
GOD the Holy Spirit! The Holy Ghost is not a "filmy cloud"
that floats around like Casper the friendly ghost, waiting to light upon
someone and cause them to speak in other tongues! He is a PERSON!
Jesus said that the one way we can really come to know the Holy
Spirit is by being "introduced" to Him by the baptism of the Holy
Spirit. You can read this for yourself in Acts 1:5 (Amp.), this is that
"second experience" that has been made available to those that
have received Jesus! Then Jesus said (and I included this scripture in my
last Encouragement) . . . "You shall receive POWER"! When do
we receive the POWER that we need in our lives in order to live victoriously?
It is "after" we receive the "baptism in The Holy Ghost"!
Do
we need this in order to go to Heaven? NO! However, we DO need this
power to be a "witness" to others (Read Acts 1:8 again). It
takes the POWER of the Holy Spirit to help us walk in Peace and Prosperity . .
. it takes the POWER of the Holy Spirit to help us walk in Love and
Loving kindness . . . it takes the POWER of the Holy Spirit to help us walk in
"truth and integrity". If people cannot see all of these
things operating in our own lives, then how are we going to be a
"witness" to them? Can we convince them to "accept"
our Jesus if we can't "show them the money"? Have you received
the POWER to have PEACE? Have you received the POWER to LOVE others as
Jesus has loved you? Have you received the POWER to "keep your
word" and walk in integrity?
Well, once again, the Holy
Spirit has led me in a different direction than what I had "planned"
to talk about . . . that's okay! I am allowing myself to be LED BY
THE HOLY SPIRIT!!
