Morning!
There
was a time in my life when I only knew Jesus as my "Savior". I
was only about nine years old when I accepted Jesus and asked Him to come into
my heart. I knew, for sure, that I had been born again like the
scriptures said. However, at that time, and for many many years after
that . . . I did not know Him as my "Lord", or as my
"healer", or my "provider", or my "counselor",
or the one who wants to be involved in all of my ways, or the one that I
am supposed to be "leaning" on and "looking" to, the one
who wants to meet all of my needs according to His riches in Glory, and
all of the many other things that He wants to be to us . . . because I did not
have any "revelation" of His WORD! Therefore, I did not have
the "intimacy" that I have with Him today! We have to spend
time in His Word in order to "KNOW" Him! He is The
Word of God! If we don't know the Word of God, then we can't KNOW Jesus
the way He wants us to KNOW Him! Oh! This message is for someone
today! I know when the Holy Spirit is leading me, and when He is doing
the "typing"!
So, because I did not know
"all of the above" for many years, then I just woke up every morning
with "ME" on my mind! I had MY "plans" for that day
(I did not know that God had a plan for me and for that day). So, I
never got Him "involved" . . . I didn't ask Him to have His way
that day . . . did not know that I even needed to do that. Is someone
listening? The results of my not "knowing" Him and His WORD,
and for not knowing how to let Him be in charge of my life were not good!
My life was a "mess" and I was a "mess"! I know this
sounds like a "soap opera", I guess that is why The Lord said it was
going to be His version of "As The World Turns"! He wants
to let us know that He can turn our world around, He can turn our children
around, He can turn our finances around, He can turn our health
around and whatever else we need to be turned around, IF we will allow Him to
be in charge of our lives, and to allow Him to HAVE HIS WAY!

you what turned all of those things around for me ~~~~~
