Morning!
Okay....Here's
the deal! Before any of us were born, God prepared and ordained a
personal "path" for each one of us to walk in (Ephesians 2:10).
This a "single-file" path....Jesus walked the path first and made it
ready for us, so all we have to do is "follow" in His footsteps!
This "path" is so personal and narrow that there is only room for
you and Jesus...with Him leading, and you following!
On
this path, you will find everything that you
need...."provision", "direction" and
"protection"! These are the three covenant promises that are
made available to us when we acknowledge The Lord as our
"Shepherd".
Psalms
23:1 (Amplified Bible), says "The Lord is my Shepherd to feed, guide and
shield me....I shall not lack". So, to feed us, is
His "provision".....to guide us, is His
"direction".....to shield us, is His "protection"!
This is
why it is so important, when you wake up each morning, to ask The Lord to
keep you on the "path" that He has for you that day! You know
what! It works for me....and it will work for you, if you ask in faith,
because God is "faithful to do what He has promised to do"!
(Hebrews 10:23) Now, isn't that "simple"?
