Good
Morning!
Psalms
91 . . . continues ~~~~~
In
the last three verses of this chapter, the psalmist is literally speaking a
prophetic word from The Lord. In other words . . . God is
"speaking" through the mouth of the prophet/psalmist. With
that in mind (that it is God, Himself, speaking), let's look at
"who" He is speaking to!
He
is speaking to the "one" who Dwells in the secret place
of the Most High, and Abides under the shadow of the Almighty, and Says
with his mouth that The Lord is my refuge and my fortress, my God, on Him
I lean and rely and in Him I will confidently trust! So, if
you are doing all of the above, then you need to "believe and
receive" the next three covenant promises of God to you as
being, THUS SAITH THE LORD! I encourage you to refer back to
what the Lord had me to "expound" on concerning the first two verses
of this chapter! It is important that we understand what it means
to DWELL and to ABIDE. I covered all that in my
previous Encouragements! So, now let's hear what The Lord has to say to
those who are meeting those "requirements". I am going to type
them out word for word from the Amplified Bible and I am going to make it
"personal" to you!
Verse 14 . . . God says,
"Because you have set your love upon me, therefore will I deliver you;
I will set you on high, because you know and understand My name
and have a personal knowledge of My mercy, love and kindness; and you trust
and rely upon me, knowing that I will never forsake you, no . . . never"!
If that isn't enough for you, then wait till you hear what He promises you in
the next two verses! I will share those with you on Thursday (remember,
no Encouragement tomorrow).
I, personally, don't
really want to wait until Thursday to share the last two verses . . . but I
must trust in The Lord to bring it to you in His own timing! What
an awesome thing it is to just be led by the Spirit of God!
