Good
Morning!
Today,
we are going to look at verse 7 from our text which has been 1 Corinthians
13:4-8 ~~~~~ I am reading from the Amplified Bible, and I am going to put a
____ for you to insert your name as you are reading it. I really
encourage you to do this!
Verse 7 (paraphrased) . .
. . . _____ bears up under anything and everything that comes; _____ is
ever ready to believe the best of every person; _____'s hopes
(expectations) are fadeless under all circumstances and _____ endures
everything (without giving in to the "pressure")! As I am
typing this, I am reminded of so many scriptures that relate to all of these
things. You are probably doing the same thing!
However, If you are
thinking..."Luanne, If I put my name in the ____ I might be lying"!
No, God will not see it that way....He will see you doing what His Word has
told you to do, and that is to "call those things that be not, as though
they were"! He will hear you saying "over yourself" what
you want to come to pass in your life! You need to be very
careful about what you are calling yourself, even if you haven't gotten to the
place that you want to be! I remember hearing a wonderful
anointed teacher of God's Word telling us...."if you want your cat
to come to you, then don't call your dog"! This
is all "scriptural" . . . God told Abram to start calling himself
Abraham, which means the "father of multitudes". At that time,
Abram was not even a father to one person, much less
"multitudes". Look what happened when Abram did what God told
him to do . . . and you know the "rest of the story"!
Remember....no
"encouragement" tomorrow, but I will be back on Friday!
Have
a Blessed Day!! (if God says to do it, then . . . just do
it!) In His Love, Luanne
