Morning!
I
am excited to see what The Holy Spirit is going to teach us this week! I
believe that we are going to finish up our in-depth study of 1
Corinthians 13:4-8....however, we will never quit learning more about
God's kind of Love!
We
are in verse 5, and I will take up where I left off ~~~~~ the next
thing we see that Love does do is this: LOVE takes
no "account" of the evil done to it and pays no
"attention" to a suffered wrong!
Do
you remember how at the beginning of this study, I encouraged each one of you
to insert your name wherever the word LOVE is? Well, I am going
to do that today. No...I am not going to insert your name
 ,
but I am going to insert mine! That is the way
that I read all of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, and by confessing those things
over myself has helped me to "get over myself"! Oh!
I love it when the Holy Spirit does the typing!
Okay!
Back to what I said I was going to do with that scripture ~~~~ Luanne takes no
"account" of the evil done to her, and Luanne pays no
"attention" to a suffered wrong! Would you be willing to put your
name there when you are reading it? It could be life-changing for you!
Question:
Are you keeping an account of what people have said or done to you?
In other words ~~~~ are you "making a list and checking it twice"?
Check
your answer Yes____ No____ Ouch!____
If
you still love me after reading this encouragement, and if you really desire
to obey God's love commandment, and if you really desire to "love"
the way God loves, then stay tuned in! There are some more "ouchies"
on the way .....however the "good news" is this: God
never uses "bandaids" that only give "temporary" relief to
our "ouchies"! He pours in the "oil and the wine"
which brings permanent healing to our "wounds" so that
there is not even any "scars" left! This should really be
"good news" to those of you that have been "wounded" by
others!
