Good Morning!

We are still in 1 Corinthians chapter 13, and we are still in verse 5.....the next thing that verse tells us is that Love is not "rude"!   Webster's definition of the word rude is:   crude, rough, ignorant; lacking refinement, culture or elegance; uncouth, not courteous, unmannerly; harsh, uncivil, impolite;  synonym:  a deliberate lack of consideration for others' feelings.   Wow!  This gives us something to think about the next time we want to "express our feelings" to the person at the fast food drive-in window or the waitress at the restaurant.  After all, they just take your order...they don't put your hamburger together or cook your steak!  So, they have no way of knowing that you got onions instead of pickles, or that your steak was rare instead of well done.  My point is.....being rude will rob you of the blessings of God that come from walking in Love.  I think that is more important than hamburgers!  I have just used this one example of being "rude", it can apply to many other situations in your life!   Think about this ~~~~~ the root word of rude is likened to . . . debris, rubble, trash and garbage!  Which means It STINKS!  That is because it "reeks" of being selfish and self-centered!   Hey!  I am not accusing anybody of anything, I just want to give you something to think about, so that you can walk in the blessings of God!

Question:  Are you ever tempted to be "rude"?  (Scroll back up and consider each of the words in the "definition").   Check your answer    Yes____     No____

You know what?  We might as well be honest with ourselves and with God.... He knows where we need to put our "check mark"!

Remember, I won't be here on Thursday....but will be back with you on Friday!

Have a Blessed Day!!          (Walk in "LOVE"!)                His Love, Luanne
