Good Morning!

With your Bibles open to 1 Corinthians chapter 13: 4-8 (which is our check-up list to find out if we are keeping the Commandment of Love that Jesus has given to us), I am going to get right into verse 5 of 1Corinthians 13:4...and I will try to cover it as quickly as possible, because I know that this verse is going to be a very "painful" self-evaluation for most people.  We would just rather "skip" this verse and go on to the next one (which I think is what a lot of people do)!  No one wants to think that verse of scripture could possibly "relate" to them.  Well, just read it with me, and be honest with yourself, knowing that every person in the world has either done these things or has been tempted to do them! Remember, I am using the Amplified Bible, and if you don't have one, then I encourage you to get one!

Verse 5 says that LOVE is not conceited, which means being arrogant and inflated with "pride".  This kind of "attitude" is what got Satan kicked out of Heaven!  He thought so highly of himself that he decided to "exalt" himself above God.  OOPS!  Wrong answer!  He not only lost his job as the praise and worship leader in Heaven, he lost the "anointing" that had been on him.  He had the attitude that he did not need God.

If you have a "ministry" in praise and worship, or in any other area....do not ever forget that you NEED God in your ministry!  You will never have to "exalt" yourself, you just need to "humble" yourself.....1 Peter 5:6 says to "humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God and HE will exalt you in due time"!

When we walk in Love, it will keep us from being "puffed up" (inflated with pride).  So, walking in Love "protects" our anointing.   God's "anointing" is what helps us do what we need to do!  I don't know about you, but I would rather be "God-anointed" than "self-exalted"!  Come on now, can I get an "Amen"?

Question:   Do you ever feel like you can do something on your own without asking God for His help?   Check your answer now.........Yes_____    No______

Remember...I will never know what your "answer" is...that is between you and God!

More to come.....stay tuned in~~~~~~~~

Have a Blessed Day!!        (The "truth" will set you free!)     In His Love, Luanne
